The Oregon Association of Home Inspectors, provides you with the opportunity to get your state required credits at our monthly meeting and to interact with other inspectors in our area. OAHI actively participates in the formation of inspector regulations in Oregon. OAHI and ASHI also maintain a couple of on-line discussion groups to keep our members connected and up-to-date. In order to become a member of OAHI an inspector must first become a Candidate for membership with ASHI.


As in any profession, it is important to align yourself with the best in the business. And the American Society of Home Inspectors, Inc. (ASHI) is the oldest and most respected home inspector association. The only one recognized as a certifying body by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

Affiliate Members

Our affiliate members are contractors and service companies that have ongoing relationships with OAHI members. We recommend these contractors and service providers for home repairs, improvements, and other services that each affiliate is qualified to perform. We stress that you should still check on all needed licenses and insurance for any contractor you may hire.
